However, because Oracle had discontinued support for this version, the company wanted to reimplement its PeopleSoft system in V9.2. Following an exhaustive fit/gap analysis for new PeopleSoft V9.2 functionalities, Cognizant first decommissioned and replaced boundary legacy applications to reduce integration needs.
