Career Accelerator: Fast Track Technology Program

Cognizant seeks to build a talented and diverse workforce that is passionate about exceptional client service. We are looking for talented professionals to join an exciting, full-time online training program with no out-of-pocket cost to you that will accelerate your career in a technology related field. This fast-track technology training program is a “hire-to-train” bootcamp designed for grads and graduating college seniors with non-STEM degrees who are seeking to advance their skills and prepare for a career in high demand technology areas; including software development, data business analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, and IoT (internet of things). Cognizant is committed to investing in new talent pipelines and preparing people to make the most of the technology that can forge our shared future.

Arizona State University

Cognizant partnered with Arizona State University to develop and offer the Digital Business Analyst Certificate Program. This unique train-to-hire program is designed for early career professionals who are seeking to make a career change and prepare for a career in consulting. This 10-week online program provides a flexible and convenient learning environment. The program also includes workshops in which students have the opportunity to meet with and work alongside Cognizant Consulting professionals. Upon successful completion, students are invited to interview for open positions with Cognizant Consulting. To date—90% of those who completed the program and then interviewed have received offers to join Cognizant. We have hired program graduates for roles throughout the U.S., including Arizona, Virginia, Texas, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, California and Arkansas.

Central Piedmont Community College

In partnership with Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina, Cognizant is providing candidates with an opportunity both to build your Java skills and to advance your career in software development. This no-cost 8-week Pre-Apprentice Java Training Program consists of two classes that are taught online in a blended format: half of the course time will be self-directed, with a focus on theory, and the remaining hours will be led online via live coaching. The program requires a commitment to 60+ hours of self-directed learning and outside homework assignments as well as 30 hours of “live-online” instruction per class. In addition,  participants will have an opportunity to interview with Cognizant for inclusion in a paid apprenticeship program to prepare for a career as a Jr. Full Stack Java Developer upon graduating successfully from the program.

University of Montana—AIM (All-In-Missoula)

Partnering with Advanced Technology Group (ATG, a Cognizant company) and the University of Montana, Cognizant established the “All-In-Missoula” program for aspiring consultants.  AIM is a 12-week training program, focused on preparing students for technology consulting roles by offering specialized business and technical courses, including systems analysis and design, data analytics, project management, information infrastructures, and cloud platforms and technologies. Students successfully completing the program have the opportunity to apply for open positions at the Cognizant ATG Missoula Solution Center in Missoula, Montana.
