To achieve “social nirvana,” companies must apply social holistically across all business functions.  For example, social media can help save money when deployed consistently across HR and talent management. It can support, if not guide, crisis management across finance and corporate communications. And in all pursuits, social can boost organizational efficiency and effectiveness by improving employee engagement.
