Ganesh Ayyar is EVP and President of Intuitive Operations and Automation and Industry Solutions at Cognizant. In this role, he is responsible for driving strategy and market share and strengthening Cognizant’s position in the modern business process outsourcing and automation services space. Additionally, Ganesh leads Cognizant’s Industry Solutions Group that focuses on hyperspecialized industry solutions and partnerships to create unique value for the company’s clients.
Previously, Ganesh was CEO of Mphasis, a global IT services company listed in India, from 2009 to 2017. He was recognized as CEO of the Year in 2016 by CEO Connections for his successful track record of transformation initiatives and market value enhancements. The Blackstone Group Inc. bought a majority stake in Mphasis in 2016, marking it as one of the largest investments in an India-listed company.
Prior to Mphasis, Ganesh spent nearly two decades at Hewlett-Packard. He rose through the ranks, holding a variety of leadership roles across multiple geographies.
