Centrality in Well-Being

Game-playing to build your emotional quotient (EQ)

PsycApps invited psychologists, neuroscientists, writers, mobile game-makers, and AI experts to collaborate on a game that would teach players, particularly young adults, how to manage emotional anxiety and mental stress. The result is Equoo, The Emotional Fitness Game, a free app that allows players to enhance psychological skills and fine-tune mental resilience — all while having fun.

Based on current research, Equoo is evidence-based, one of the only 2% of mental health apps that have undergone clinical trials. It helps players address depression and anxiety, and build their interpersonal skills and EQ, in a relaxed and entertaining way.
