And the perception that senior citizens are reticent to buy anything online … that’s just a myth. Consumers older than 55 are just as happy as other age groups to shop from the comfort of their homes.


These and interesting insights emerged from our survey of over 1,500 shoppers in the U.S. and seven European countries. The infographic below summarizes our survey findings. It analyzes the lure of shopping online and explains online shoppers’ motivations. From convenient payment methods to low delivery charges, our findings illuminate the must-have features retailers need to attract digital-age shoppers.
