Cognizant's digital banking solutions team identified critical outcomes, and then evaluated how to use service virtualization (rather than production services) for testing to improve productivity and reduce testing costs. At the same time, we established processes for continuous integration and delivery, optimizing these practices by using our proprietary continuous development platform, co-locating testing and development teams to reduce communication time and cost, and leveraging offshore teams to minimize execution costs.
In just 12 weeks, Cognizant helped the company implement new DevOps improvements in continuous integration, testing and delivery. The resulting automated development lifecycle and continuous testing environment is more productive, efficient and cost effective. In addition, the company now uses Cognizant’s proprietary testing framework for continuous software testing.
