If digital supply chains are important to CEOs,
why aren’t more companies making progress?

Recently released research shows that while supply chain digitization was identified as a top strategic imperative by a majority of CEOs surveyed, few of their companies have succeeded in transforming their end-to-end operations.

Our latest study in collaboration with Forbes Insights of 490 senior supply chain executives found that only 9% of survey respondents can be called supply chain “progressives”—those with high levels of maturity digitizing their supply chain. Nearly 33% of respondents are “runners up” having achieved moderate levels of maturity; while almost 60% are “up and comers.” Frustration is also evident—less than 25% of survey respondents believe that their supply chain currently generates optimal value or has reached its full potential.
