PGA TOUR Presidents Cup

The Presidents Cup represents competition at its finest. Unlike many sporting events, athletes are not paid for their time. Instead, each competitor designates a charity to receive a portion of the funds raised. 

Over the past 25 years, the Presidents Cup has helped more than 460 charities in 18 countries, and we are proud to sponsor an event that aligns so closely with our own core values. 

LPGA Tour Cognizant Founders Cup

70 years ago, 13 female golfers founded a professional league to celebrate women and ensure their place in the sport. Today, the LPGA Tour Founders Cup—named after those 13 women—is one of the most celebrated events in golf.

As the title sponsor, Cognizant and LPGA share a common goal—to increase inclusion while building a stronger platform for the next generation of female golfers.

The John Shippen Cognizant Cup

Before there was a PGA there was John Shippen—a true trailblazer. Shippen was not only the first Black golf pro, he was also the first American-born professional golfer ever.

Today, The John Shippen Cognizant Cup is expanding representation, access and opportunity for women of color in golf, with the tournament winner earning a spot to compete alongside LPGA professionals in The Founders Cup.

Charlie Sifford Centennial Cup

Named for the first Black PGA TOUR professional, The Charlie Sifford Centennial Cup honors the legacy and continuing contributions of Black golfers while working to increase diversity, equity and inclusion.

The event brings the best Division I and Division II players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities together to compete on a national stage as part of the PGA TOUR Presidents Cup.

Increasing access for young women and girls

To date, the Cognizant Founders Cup has raised $4 million for the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program, which has helped the organization add 34 new sites.
