Ben Pring

Ben Pring co-founded and leads Cognizant’s Center for the Future of Work. Ben is a co-author of the best-selling and award-winning books, What To Do When Machines Do Everything (2017) and Code Halos; How the Digital Lives of People, Things, and Organizations are Changing the Rules of Business (2014). Ben’s expertise in helping clients see around corners, think the unthinkable, and calculate the compound annual growth rate of unintended consequences has made him an internationally recognized expert on leading edge technology and its intersection with business and society. 

Ben sits on the advisory board of the Labor and Work Life program at Harvard Law School. In 2018 Ben was a Bilderberg Meeting participant. Based near Boston since 2000, Ben graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Manchester University in the UK where he grew up.

Sandra Ng is the Group Vice President heading IDC's Asia/Pacific Practice Group. Marita Cheng

Founder at aubot, Robotist and Entrepreneur

Marita Cheng is the founder and CEO of aubot, which makes a telepresence robot, Teleport, for kids with cancer in hospital to attend school, people with a disability to attend work and to monitor and socialise with elderly people. aubot also does research and development in robotic arms, virtual reality and autonomous mapping and navigation.

 

Marita was the recipient of the 2018 Tasmania Award for Excellence in Women’s Leadership. She also was named the 2012 Young Australian of the Year for demonstrating vision and leadership well beyond her years as the Founder and Executive Director of Robogals Global. Marita has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics) / Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Melbourne. She serves on the boards of Robogals Global, the Foundation for Young Australians, and RMIT's New Enterprise Investment Fund, the Victorian State Innovation Expert Panel, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative's Tech Advisory Board.

Before joining QBE in November 2018, Frank held a number of senior leadership roles across the industry including CEO of Youi Insurance (Australia and New Zealand), CFO & COO of Berkshire Hathaway Speciality Insurance (Australia and New Zealand), CFO of Insurance Australia Group’s direct insurance business (NRMA) and earlier as the CFO and Head of Business Development & Strategy (Asia). 

Frank spent his early career working in investment banking, including time with UBS Australia as a successful insurance equity analyst. 

Frank is currently a Director of not-for-profit organisation Out for Australia.

Catriona Noble

Managing Director, Retail Distribution Australia, ANZ Bank

Commencing with ANZ in 2015 as Managing Director Retail Distribution, Catriona was responsible for the key retail distribution channels which included the Australian branch network, mobile lending, brokers, customer contact centre and ATMs. In this role, Catriona lead a team of more than 6,000 people who were dedicated to bringing the best customer experience to our five million customers. Catriona has recently joined the Institutional team to further expand her knowledge of the banking industry.
 

Prior to joining ANZ, Catriona worked for the McDonald’s Corporation as Chief Restaurant Officer, Asia, Pacific, Middle East and Africa. In this role she was responsible for more than 10,000 restaurants and 200,000 people.
 

Throughout a 20 year career with McDonald’s, Catriona earned a reputation as an innovator for her success in driving fundamental cultural change to achieve business success. During the four years Catriona spent as CEO she played an integral role in the transformation of the McDonald’s brand in Australia from a pure fast food outlet to one that offers healthier options, attracting a broader customer base in the process.
 

Catriona completed the Business and Economics AMP (Advanced Management Programme) from INSEAD business school.
 

She is a member and mentor with the Business Council of Australia and a member of the Australian Social Inclusion Board, of which she is the Deputy Chair of the National Place Based Advisory Group.

Robert Marchiori is the General Manager, Transformation at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ). In his current role, Robert is focused on leading and transforming technology and operations to deliver customer value grounded on economic and business growth. 

Rob previously led the ANZ Institutional Technology division, providing global leadership to the technology organization delivering multi-million dollar platforms and services for Institutional, Corporate and Commercial business customers. Institutional Technology covers Transaction Banking (Cash, Liquidity and Trade Management), Financial Markets (FX, Trading and many more), Wholesale Digital and Wholesale Lending Transformation. 
 

Rob is originally from the United States, worked in Amsterdam at ABN AMRO / RBS for 8 years, was a founder of an e-commerce start-up and worked in various technology and strategy focused roles at Andersen Consulting.
