Ben Pring

Vice President & Managing Director, Cognizant’s Center for the Future of Work

Ben Pring co-founded and leads Cognizant’s Center for the Future of Work. Ben is a co-author of the best-selling and award-winning books, What To Do When Machines Do Everything (2017) and Code Halos; How the Digital Lives of People, Things, and Organizations are Changing the Rules of Business (2014). Ben’s expertise in helping clients see around corners, think the unthinkable, and calculate the compound annual growth rate of unintended consequences has made him an internationally recognized expert on leading edge technology and its intersection with business and society. 
 

Ben sits on the advisory board of the Labor and Work Life program at Harvard Law School. In 2018 Ben was a Bilderberg Meeting participant. Based near Boston since 2000, Ben graduated with a degree in Philosophy from Manchester University in the UK where he grew up.

Group Vice President, IDC Asia Pacific, Practice Group

Sandra Ng is the Group Vice President heading IDC's Asia/Pacific Practice Group. Based in Singapore, she is responsible for thought leadership and deep-dive insights and advisory content on IDC's 3rd Platform disruptive pillars of Cloud, Mobility, Big Data Analytics and Social, along with C-suite (CIO, CMO, CEO, COO, CFO and CxO) research, Service Provider industry and tech buyer engagements. In her role, she advises both tech buyers (CIO and LoB) and IT suppliers/enablers across the ICT marketplace.
 

Sandra leads a team of IDC's senior analysts with collective expertise across the ICT industry. This team leverages the core research created by IDC's Asia/Pacific Domain Research Group, through contextualizing the content and increasing its relevance for clients and their businesses. Marita Cheng

Founder at aubot, Robotist and Entrepreneur

Marita Cheng is the founder and CEO of aubot, which makes a telepresence robot, Teleport, for kids with cancer in hospital to attend school, people with a disability to attend work and to monitor and socialise with elderly people. aubot also does research and development in robotic arms, virtual reality and autonomous mapping and navigation.

 

Marita was the recipient of the 2018 Tasmania Award for Excellence in Women’s Leadership. She also was named the 2012 Young Australian of the Year for demonstrating vision and leadership well beyond her years as the Founder and Executive Director of Robogals Global. Marita has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics) / Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Melbourne. She serves on the boards of Robogals Global, the Foundation for Young Australians, and RMIT's New Enterprise Investment Fund, the Victorian State Innovation Expert Panel, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative's Tech Advisory Board.

An entrepreneur, disruption strategist and advocate for social and economic inclusion, Holly Ransom believes that technology is the single, most powerful lever available to us to evolve or diminish our humanity. Holly brings high energy and a unique voice to ignite inclusive debate across public, not for profit and corporate decision-making forums.
