A leading European do-it-yourself store franchiser, with 50-years of experience in the construction market, recognized the opportunity to extend the reach of its brands brick-and-mortar stores to online customers. The challenge was creating a high-performing and convenient ecommerce site with round-the-clock accessibility.


Our Approach

This large retailer approached Mirabeau, a Cognizant Digital Business, to support its evolving ecommerce strategies and ensure continuous uptime. In collaboration with Hybris, ASP4all and Amazon Web Services (AWS), Mirabeau hosts and manages the ecommerce environments. Previously established key performance indicators guarantee performance. The ASP4all infrastructure—deployed for hosting and security of their full web environment—and an AWS-based content delivery network (CDN) solution enable site optimization.

The new websites support online ordering. Convenient functionalities, including real-time stock updates, let customers check the availability of desired products for pick up in their preferred local DIY store.
