Financial Firm Manages Its Marketing Assets From the Cloud

The Challenge

One of the world’s largest financial services providers needed to dramatically reduce the time and cost of creating, managing, sharing and distributing its marketing content. To do so, it sought a cloud-based digital asset management (DAM) solution to serve as a central repository of marketing assets that could be integrated with its existing workflow and compliance management tools.

Our Approach

Cognizant's banking solutions team implemented our cloud-based assetSERV solution, configuring it with business rules for origination, management, approval and routing of the company’s marketing assets. Business managers, product managers and librarians can now monitor the status of all content. Users also benefit from new metadata associated with each asset, which identifies it and contains vital information about who can use it, how and by when.

We also created a tool to automate the correction of digital asset tags, which helps avoid misidentification. Our team integrated the solution with multiple upstream and downstream systems at the company to ensure efficient functioning. Finally, we added new, streamlined workflows to replace ad hoc processes with standardize content descriptions and flows.
