Karen has over 16 years of analytics and consulting experience in the life sciences industry, as well as in insurance and retail. She leads a range of engagements, including segmentation, targeting, promotion response modeling, sales force size and structure analysis, patient journey analysis and patient data analytics, and marketing mix optimization for multiple top 10 pharmaceuticals clients.
She has developed innovative AI/ML solutions that include leveraging NLP to gain insights from unstructured data and using machine learning to help a medical device client classify product complaint reports without human intervention. Karen has strong domain knowledge and an understanding of the modeling methodologies and data sets leveraged in the life sciences industry.
She holds a Master of Science in information and systems engineering and a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Karen has authored two whitepapers, “Measuring the Impact of a Celebrity DTC Campaign” and “Using Analytics to Predict Medication Non-Adherence,” and presented at CBI’s EHR and eRx Conferences in 2015 and 2017.
