• Reducing TCO of Billing. One of the major application management initiatives of a large life insurer was the reduction of the Total Cost of Ownership of its billing applications. Our team worked on a system that performed premium billing calculation, billing notice and reminder generation, and that also interfaced with the group customers’ payroll systems.
  
  The system handled over 1 million contracts, and the total premium collected from product lines was over $550 million. Our involvement helped reduce the total cost of owning the system and documented productivity improvements .
