  • Industrialized MySQL Cluster to achieve 32,000 updates and 50,000 queries per second.
  • Performance tuned a production database with 15 TB of data to process 70 million rows in less than 4 hours, using pipeline, analytical functions, multi-insert and exchange partition on Oracle 9i.
  • For a degrading database using a COTS replication tool, the DACoE recommended asynchronous replication vs. synchronous replication, scaling it up to meet 3,500 users, though initially designed for 600.
  • Simultaneous migration of 3 SQL Servers from 32-bit to 64-bit platforms with 3 TB of data.
  • Conducted Oracle RAC stress-testing in DACOE's lab to help Client determine if it could meet NFR requirements, before a purchase decision was made.
  • Reduced stored procedure runtime from 1.25 hours to 19 minutes through re-engineering and temp table design.
  • Helped a retail client meet SLA by tuning its Data Warehousing batch process to collect daily sales data from 550 stores across 30 countries in under 24 hours.
  • Design of Data Mart to meet Basel II compliance and Architecture to interface with 20+ Applications.
