| Cognizant was requested to build a tool using Siebel, which would enable effective management of Book of Business, Forecasts, Activities, and Contacts, by Sales Force and Sales Management. Important factors to consider during application development were - the application's usability, response time, and data integrity. Integration of the Siebel application with other internal systems was also in scope. |

| Cognizant conducted a thorough analysis of the proposed requirements. Then the configuration team developed a design. The key point of the requirements proposed by the client was the complete remodeling of the User Interface provided in the Siebel vanilla product. The configuration team did a thorough analysis of Siebel Web Templates that build up the User Interface for Siebel applications. All the requirements pertaining to remodeling the User Interface were implemented successfully. The configuration team also implemented a user-friendly search mechanism throughout the application and this functionality played an important role in enhancing the usability of the application. Cognizant worked on data cleansing. Integration scenarios were thoroughly analyzed by the configuration team and the design was based on the Siebel Enterprise Application Integration technology.
