Management, Condition Assessment, and Geographic

part of Transmission System Strategy to
create a system architecture that will help
to support all business processes of the
departments responsible for maintenance
and construction of the transmission power
network. Cognizant is involved in finalizing
the business and functional requirements
for this software solution, helping the

of this solution. This system will use mobile
devices to capture data from field, allow
upload from remote field device to Central
Database and vice versa, provide GIS Landbase
and GPS co-ordinates of Assets, allow testing
of equipment etc., thereby ensuring availability
of latest information at all times, quicker
turnaround, higher data accuracy and optimal
