The client is a large automotive retailing solution provider. The client provides integrated computing solutions to more than 16,000 automotive and truck dealers throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and is a market leader in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) products. The client has several products and services catering to the automotive retailing industry.
 
Situation
Faced with business challenges, the client embarked upon a major development initiative to re-architect, re-platform, and re-develop its existing suite of products. The key imperatives for this initiative were:
