The client is one of the world's leading providers of communications services. The challenge for the client was to represent its billing information available in PeopleSoft, in the client specific-450 compliant format. Cognizant’s role was to analyze the client’s business scenario and map its account hierarchy to the model supported by the 450 standard for Communications Service Providers. The benefits for the client included electronic version of billing information, reduction of data entry, cost and time involved in maintenance of paper bills and contribution to the corporate unification agenda.
