For the sixth year running, Cognizant was recognized for its fast-track financial growth by Forbes magazine in the publication's annual "25 Fastest Growing Tech Companies" special report.

In the 2007 report published earlier this month, Cognizant ranked sixth, up seven places from its 2006 standing. Cognizant was ranked 21st by Forbes in 2005. (Click here to see the entire 2007 list.)

Companies ranked on Forbes "25 Fastest Growing Tech Companies" list have achieved annualized sales gains of at least 10% during the past five years; have been profitable during the past 12 months; and have received a Thomson IBES consensus earnings forecast of at least 10% annualized growth over the next three to five years.
