A recent article in BusinessWeek on “The New Economics of Outsourcing” references Kimberly-Clark and its decision to leverage Cognizant’s Buenos Aires delivery center to handle technical support for its SAP applications.
Kimberly-Clark was drawn to Argentina’s available talent pool as well as its geographical proximity to the U.S., which enables tighter collaboration, CIO Ramon Baez told the magazine. "We picked Buenos Aires for a number of reasons, but we really felt from supporting SAP, it was the right place to be,” he noted.
