"The best thing about Cognizant is that it lets me do whatever I choose to do and has offered me a variety of challenges in a short span of time" says Rajib Rudra who joined the Insurance practice in 2004 after his MBA from IIM Calcutta. From working as the onsite business analyst in a complex system development project for MetLife to working in various business development activities along with numerous onsite consulting assignments for various clients in locations ranging all over the world from China to UK to various places in USA, Rajib has been able to combine his passion for travelling all over the world with his desire for facing different challenges everyday. Rajib adds that "I worked as a developer in Cognizant for 2 years before my MBA and returned here because of the open culture of this company which lets me choose what I want to do and follow whatever career path I wish to".

With over 6 years of pre-MBA technical experience in India and US, architecting and managing teams, Aarthi joined the Healthcare practice of Cognizant to manage business development and project delivery for a key account in the practice. Wanting to do a Corporate role, Aarthi took up the opportunity to support the President in various new initiatives, which included strategic focus on the Asia Pacific region. She then took over the business development activities for the region as core focus area and has been involved in managing the P&L for the business unit, building the leadership team for the region, hiring local talent, improving brand awareness of Cognizant in the new geographies, focused marketing activities and supporting sales growth. "Intrapreneurship is welcomed and this has provided the space to experiment and grow" says Aarthi.

This has clearly helped me to be a successful professional" says Lakshminarayanan (popularly known as Lux), a Senior Manager in Cognizant’s Advanced Solutions Group, has shouldered multiple roles —consultant for a dot com in evaluating hosting services; providing business development support for Cognizant; working with the Cognizant Senior management in an organizational change project; an Account manager in the US and UK in setting up Fortune 50 financial services firms as customers for Cognizant. As a delivery manager, Lux currently handles program management responsibilities for technically complex and challenging projects. A proud member of the large and growing Cognizant family, this spirited Manager graduated from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow with the Post Graduate Program Chairman’s medal.
