The Cognizant Foundation is our channel to give back to the communities in which we operate. We focus our work in the areas of education and healthcare. Since its incorporation, the Foundation has become a partner with Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University in the satellite-based nationwide distance education program. Named 'Edusat', this program was inaugurated by President Abdul Kalam in Coimbatore for providing space technology that is supported by a community infrastructure to be a force of transformation in rural India.
