In 2009, Cognizant formed a strategic global partnership with Invensys, a global technology solutions provider that helps companies monitor, control and automate processes. Through this unique and powerful partnership, Cognizant provides ongoing product development services for Invensys while at the same time we remain a strategic partner and have forged a go-to-market strategy with them .Our understanding of the Invensys product family is therefore much deeper than what other service providers can offer.
In July 2009, Cognizant took on board more than 500 professionals of Invensys Operations Management R&D center in Hyderabad. Later that year, we added another 120 R&D professionals. Since then we have developed a joint global business model to transform the engineering and manufacturing solutions (EMS) space.
Working with Invensys, we’ve established a 12,000 square foot center industrial automation and safety critical systems lab with the latest hardware and software tools. This provides the springboard for new solutions and future innovations.
