We're especially interested in smart, dynamic candidates who have a balance of analytical, technical and interpersonal skills, plus an interest in solving our clients' business and technology problems.

Historically, we've found they tend to major in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering. But we encourage anyone who has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to program in at least one language or framework (such as C, C++, Java, .NET, Perl, or another language) to apply.

Cognizant hires where we have offices or significant client engagements, usually in large metropolitan areas. That way, we can give you a succession of challenging assignments, without requiring you to move.

To ensure you have a solid understanding of Cognizant's culture and processes prior to starting your engagement, you'll attend a 4-week Training Program where you will learn our history, vision and culture, and get trained on the tools and methodologies needed to be successful at the client site. Once your training is complete, you'll join one of our larger project teams where you'll be able to get a sense of the depth and breadth of Cognizant roles.

In addition to your day-to-day project manager, we'll assign a mentor to ensure you get all the help and advocacy you need to start your career on the best footing.

As a recent MBA graduate, you will join the Cognizant Business Consulting (CBC) organization as a Consultant. CBC is a global consulting organization delivering strategic and domain consulting through industry and technology expertise.

As a Consultant, you will play an important role with responsibilities that range from analyzing a client's issues/objectives and interviewing key client stakeholders, to developing recommendations and authoring presentations. You can work across several clients and project types to develop a broad set of skills that will position you for future success.

We are interested in smart, dynamic candidates from top tier business schools with good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving skills. Applicants must be comfortable interacting with technical experts and client business unit heads.
