Cognizant provides a large Anglo-Swedish pharma company with global software maintenance and development services for SOA.
Our application maintenance agreement spans over 30 application integrations, over 140 services and a large volume of support tickets.
In addition, the agreement covers the SOA Factory Model servicing development, maintenance and consulting of more than 30 Oracle Fusion integrations every quarter.
Other Cognizant work includes an Oracle SOA platform upgrade to 11g, plus SOA performance tuning and testing.
This $5 billion leading provider of title insurance and settlement services was looking for a large scale IT transformation program.
Key to this effort was implementing Oracle Cloud Applications to replace its Oracle E-Business suite 11i and custom legacy applications.
Cognizant embarked on a phased, five year transformation program to roll out Oracle Cloud Applications including Financials and Procurement—across multiple geographical locations.
Following the adoption of Oracle Cloud Applications, the company realized a significant reduction in total cost of ownership through improved visibility of spend, better supplier management and reduced cost per purchase order.
Currently the client is live on Oracle ERP Cloud (Procurement).
We provided the world’s largest art business and fine arts auction house with software rollout and support services on a global scale. The coverage included L2 and L3 services support for JD Edwards v9.1, Hyperion v11.1.2 and Siebel v18.104.22.168.
Cognizant worked collaboratively with the company’s existing team for L2 / L3 tickets and helped facilitate a smooth transition in order to meet an aggressive transformation program schedule. Our ability to provide global resources flexibly and at multiple locations was key to this project’s success.
A leading office supplies retailer is currently using PeopleSoft as its core HCM system. Working with Cognizant, a software upgrade was planned in order to reduce software customizations and to better support business needs and strategies. Other goals for the upgrade included compliance with a companywide infrastructure mandate to use more cost effective technology for hardware and to enable PeopleSoft to display the native language of each respective country.
The successful rollout of the PeopleSoft 9.2 release took place on a supported, scalable and cost efficient platform. It has empowered associates, managers, HR, benefits and payroll professionals to take advantage of the enhanced functionality of the new release.
