Through our “Go Green” Initiative, we have established a policy for base-lining and reducing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions at all locations in our global delivery network. Milestones set and met as part of our Go Green initiative include:

  • Green Data Centers
    • 2 New LEEDs Silver rated data centers
    • Rack placement and orientation to reduce air conditioning [AC] consumption
    • Reduced cabling to enhance air flow
    • Modular design to reduce AC consumption
    • Localized power metering integrated into Building Management System
  • PC Power Management
    • Deployed to 50,000 desktops; saving 22,000 tons of CO2
  • Printer Management
    • Double-sided printing, print quotas, and power-saving modes implemented across India
  • Server Virtualization
    • 60 VMWare ESX running 389 VM’s (1:7 ratio)
    • 35% reduction in new server procurement in 2008
    • Continuing with additional deployment
  • Immigration Automation (BPM solution)
    • Estimated reduction in paper consumption by 2.2M pages per year
