Despite the great recession of 2008 and 2009 we made the biggest bonus payment in the industry and grew the company by 16%. In 2011 we grew by 33%. Cognizant Academy offers a host of learning programs that develops your professional expertise. Here are the highlights of our approach:
- Campus Associate Training Program (CATP): We welcome our freshers with a 14-week training program. This is an induction program for smooth transition from the campus to a corporate environment. It exposes young minds to a real-time project situation called MFRP (My First Real Project) — a hands-on live project situation. It covers both technical and non-technical topics; and social activities, such as blogging and vibrant cultural events.
- Career Growth and Education: This includes comprehensive learning hubs such as knowledge banks and interesting reads, external certifications, domain expertise and internal Cognizant certifications, role-based trainings, virtual learning libraries and so on. Diligently following this learning graph empowers associates with a structured growth plan for new career options and early success.
- Global Exposure: With offices in over 40 locations, prestigious international clients and up-to-the-minute technologies, our new entrants embark on a global journey right from the word go. What's more, we are in constant need of more associates at almost every corner of the world.
- No Service Bonds: At Cognizant we do not want to hold you to your job with a service bond. You stay because you want to. Not because you have to! As simple as that. We believe in creating an environment for our associates that empowers them to take confident, individual decisions! - Some work and some play: At Cognizant, it is not all work. We have a range of fun activities organized regularly to engage our young associates.
